This elegant, rounded cognac has been aged for more than 30 years. Beautifully presented in a dark wooden box, each bottle is numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
|Aroma||Fruit and oak tones|
|Ageing||Bottled in 2011, aged for over 30 years|
|Distillation||Recenty installed some new big stills. Their style is fruity and distillation is probably around 68 -70 degrees. This is a well managed and good distillery|
|Flavour||Round, warming flavours with fruit and nutty tones. Smooth with a long finish|
|Grape Variety||Ugni Blanc also Colombard and Folle Blanche|
|Reduction and Strength||Eau de vie mixed with distilled water, only small quantities used as cellars are quite dry.|
|Viticulture||The ground here is flat. The chalk here is probably Santonian being more compacted than that of the Cognacian further to the north. Grape varieties are mainly ugni blanc but the firm also has a reasonable level of Colombard and Folle which they put to good use in the cognacs.|
