Domaine du Foucaudet

This is a small house down a country lane just outside Juillac le Coq. The family who own it produce small quantities of very fine cognac from a pair of stills. The firm dates back many generations from the original Jean Ricard whose family have produced cognacs on the site for more than 150 years Cognac Pasquinet also comes from the same estate which is set in a valley south east of Cognac and about 10km from Segonzac.

There is an area of Grande Champagne, South East of Cognac where some of the finest cognacs are made. The small village of Juillac le Coq grows some of the nicest vines in the region and it is from here that the Heritage 1928 Cognac comes. The flavour is clean with a light nut straw and citrus aroma. The rancio is one of a dry straw but rich quality. This is a cognac not to be missed.
