Finding 1900 is always difficult and becoming increasingly more so. We were delighted to have been offered this which is really nice and comes from the area around Boutevillein the East of Grande Champagne.

| Aroma | A hint of tobacco with almond, medlar, mangosteen and dry spice aromas |

| Ageing | Aged in small cellars of medium dampness in 350 ltr Limoursin oak. We have no information regarding the toasting of the barrels |
| Distillation | Charentais still, 25 hltrs The stills were quite old and relatively tulip in shape allowing for greater flavours to develop from the wines |
| Flavour | The cognac has a powerful attack on the palate of dry fruit and spices but there are also many complex flavours going on at the same time including green walnuts, mangosteen, mace and cucumber |

| Reduction and Strength | No reduction, the cognac is totally pure |
| Viticulture | Good chalky soil derived from the rolling hills between Segonzac and Chateauneuf |
