Nutty cognacs from the borders of Fins Bois and Grande Champagne. In the mid 19th century the region close to the Charente between Fins Bois and the Champagnes produced many very fine cognacs. Today that quality still exists from this fine producer

Details

From the plains around Chateauneuf, this cognac is produced under the skilled management of one of the best known cognac estate managers. The cognac has a mown grass and linden aroma with a vanilla development. On the palate there is an initial taste of burnt hazelnuts with a hint of lemon and a buttery pine.

Flavour Some leathery and hazel nut tones with a hint of tobacco. There is also a suggestion of some dried fruit flavours . Very good cognac

Reduction and Strength Started at about 59% earlier this year but is being gradually reduced to around 45%
