Tremendous complexity and flavour. These complex cognacs are distilled on small narrow stills enabling greater fruitiness from the wines to be found in the cognac. Flavours of pineapple syrup, walnuts and spices are all in abundance

Additional Information
| Aroma | The 1999 is designed to provide a similar quality to the 2000. We will be stocking this while we are preparing a further quantity of the 2000 which will be ready end of 2011. There are mocha and roasted walnut aromas |
|---|---|
| Ageing | Lovely cellars, damp and full of interesting aromas. Cognacs from here are well aged and much care is taken to get them just right |
| Distillation | A new 25 Hltr still has been installed here but this was made on the old 12 hltr still and is of high quality. |
| Flavour | The mocha and roasted walnut is evident to all who taste this masters gold medal cognac |
| Grape Variety | Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche |
| Reduction and Strength | Very slow dilution. |
| Viticulture | The soil here is flatter than that around Segonzac and the Coniacian chalk is similar to that on which the town of Cognac is built. The weather here is at its most even with only nominal extremes of hot and cold and low rain fall. Vines are Ugni Blanc and Folle Blanche |
