Bottled at cask strength to maximise its complexity and flavour, this calvados is distilled from bittersweet and tart apples before being aged in oak barrels. The result is a spicy, citrus flavoured calvados with nutmeg and vanilla tones.

|Grape Variety||Not a grape but Cidre made from apples and perry pear. The bitter/sweet apples are mainly picked and crushed in a membrane press to get the flavour from the skins. There are several varieties including Saint Martin, Noel des Champs, Mettais and Doux Normandie. The apples are small with high aromatic intensity. Perry pear is used to create added acidity for distillation|
|Reduction and Strength||Cask strength|
|Viticulture||Rich and fertile land. The Normandy apple plantations are quite unique since they are used almost solely for the production of calvados. Many apples are grown today on the new low variety of trees|
