The mid 1960s produced some excellent cognacs from Petite Champagne and this one is no exception. This is a lighter style cognac exhibiting many flavours which develop slowly but last well on the palate.

- Aroma: Needs to stand for a few minutes for the aromas to develop, they include hazelnuts, brioche, banana and gooseberries.
- Flavour:
- Flavour: Roasted hazelnuts with brioche and a hint of lime. Develops with banana, blueberries and a hint of strawberries with the zest of lime influencing the tail.

Another gem from the cellars at Chateau de Maniban, the 1968 is distilled lower than most in the range and is probably one of the nicest from this particular distiller.

- Flavour:
- Flavour: Richer than some of Florence Castarede's armagnacs. This is much more nutty and has some toffee and roasted walnut flavours.
