Produced from Croizet's predominantly Grande Champagne vineyards, the 1914 was one of their most highly acclaimed vintages. It is thought that only one barrel was produced so it is in extremely limited supply.
|Aroma||Croizet were highly regarded at the turn of the century and the 1914 has aged for many years in their cellars. There are wonderful aromas of dried walnuts and tobacco with hints of orange peel and rich madeira rancio.|
|Ageing||Aged in old damp cellars|
|Flavour||This is a cognac to be savoured. There is a powerful richness that combines with the roasted nut and toast flavours and develops into a citric grapefruit peel finish on the palate.|
|Grape Variety||Ugni Blanc|
|Viticulture||Some of the finest vineyards in Grande Champagne, very chalky and ideal for growing Ugni Blanc.|
