Intensely fruity and rich prune and roasted walnut flavours with lots of roundness, all mixed in with huge quantities of quality.
|Aroma||Fruity aromas with hints of mocha and nuts.|
|Distillation||Made on the traditional continous still where the spirit passes over a series of plates before condensing to a water clear eau de vie.|
|Flavour||A well-aged armagnac with great depth. Delightful Victoria plum and prune flavours with nuts in the middle mouth. Quite a long finish of fruitiness but with some toffee and mocha.|
|Grape Variety||Mainly Ugni Blanc and Baco|
|Reduction and Strength||40% abv|
|Viticulture||The climate is soft and humid with sunny autumns and the soil is made of siliceous clay which is poor in lime, giving Bas Armagnacs a lightness and fragrance with subtle tastes|
