This grappa is made from the pomace of Vespaiolo, the same grape as those used in Fausto Maculan's famous Torcolato dessert wine. During the drying process the grapes are attacked by 'noble rot' which creates compounds that concentrate the flavours and add depth and complexity to the grappa.

|Distillation||Distilled using copper pot stills at the time of the grape harvest.|
|Flavour||Flavours ranging from dates and dried figs to honey and sweet spice, the depth is rich and persistent with a sweet taste at first but spice and savoury flavours through the finish.|
|Reduction and Strength||The final distillate, at 75% abv, is lowered to 40% abv with the addition of distilled water.|
|Viticulture||Made in the hills of Breganze where the soil is volcanic and the temperature is cool. .|
