A pure, special, limited edition 1917 cognac from the top cru that shows off many of the traditional skills of the period. Made in a 25hl still, it was then aged in medium, toasted oak for about 18 months before being transferred to old barrels. This complex and powerful cognac has many fine characteristics of lime, grapefruit peel, angelica, walnuts and spices and is a fine example of early twentieth century distillation and ageing.

- Flavour: A complexity of dry fruit and nut flavours. Lime and angelica along with walnuts and dry spices combine with a grapefruit peel and kumquat finish.
