|Aroma||Cedar wood, dried fruit and vanilla.|
|Ageing||Aged in French oak from Limousin and Tronçais forests.|
|Distillation||Bertrand use a pair of 25 hltr stills. The still heads are tulip shape thus preventing an excess of rectification. Cognacs are distilled close to the legal maximum of 72 degrees.|

|Viticulture||Chalky, thin soils give way to high limestone content from the surface down. Montmorillonite clay provides good structure and water reserve.|
