Introducing The Hermitage Cognac Trilogy, a premium collection of three Grande Champagne cognacs – Cigar 15, Café 20 and Cacao 25. Expertly crafted and naturally aged without additives, this trio showcases the hallmark Hermitage style: rich, elegant and deeply layered.

Cigar 15 features refined notes of tobacco, almond and saffron; Café 20 offers award-winning depth with mocha, roasted walnut and vanilla; and Cacao 25 delivers a luxurious dark-chocolate profile with wild cherry and ginger. Additional Information

Aroma:
Aromatic layers unfold across the three expressions, from tobacco, almond and nutmeg in Cigar 15 to the mocha-rich, roasted-walnut depth of Café 20 and the dark-chocolate, wild-fruit intensity of Cacao 25. Together, they offer a complete aromatic journey from warm spice to deep cacao and coffee tones.
Ageing:
Each cognac in The Trilogy is matured slowly in French oak, beginning in new Limousin barrels before long ageing in older casks. Their natural maturation of 15, 20 and 25 years allows each expression to develop its own character while reflecting the refined Hermitage house style.
Distillation:
All three cognacs are distilled by respected Grande Champagne producers using traditional small Charentais Alembic stills. This gentle, artisanal distillation preserves the purity, finesse and aromatic complexity that define the Trilogy.
Flavour:
From the dry elegance and saffron-cocoa tones of Cigar 15 to the mocha, vanilla and roasted-nut richness of Café 20 and the wild cherry, ginger, honey and orange-marmalade depth of Cacao 25, The Trilogy showcases a full spectrum of Grande Champagne flavour—balanced, expressive and richly layered.
Grape Variety:
Ugni Blanc (for all three expressions)
Reduction & Strength:
Each cognac undergoes careful, gradual reduction over several years, ensuring the optimal strength for balance and aromatic integrity: 41% for Cigar 15, 42% for Café 20 and 43% for Cacao 25.
Viticulture:
Sourced from the heart of Grande Champagne, the vineyards share the region’s hallmark chalky, porous soils. These deep, mineral-rich terrains allow vine roots to reach far below the surface, producing grapes with the acidity and finesse essential for long-aged cognacs.
