This highly specialised product contains an attractive apple macerating in calvados. It is created in the spring when a carafe is suspended from the branch of the apple tree as soon as the first little apple appears; it then continues to grow inside. When the fruit has ripened the carafe is removed from the tree with its apple held captive inside.

This is a very light and pleasant cognac from a top house. The firm is in a valley close to Ambleville in the central/southern region of Grande Champagne.
