Juillac le Coq is to the western side of the Grande Champagne and is an area renowned for the unusual quality of its cognacs. All the cognacs produced in this area, including those from Hermitage Cognacs, have a distinctive melon and mangosteen flavour not normally found elsewhere in the cru.
