Hermitage Réaux Cognacs are produced from the highest yielding region of Petite Champagne between Pons and Réaux, an area that manages to produce particularly good cognacs. The family estate is medium sized around the commune of Réaux. The land here has gentle chalk hills, ideal for grape production. Ugni Blanc grapes are produced and wine yields are normally quite high enabling the maximum wine production allowed under BNIC regulations. Distillation is in 25 hltr stills.
