The grapes for this armagnac were harvested in 1949, just a few years after the end of WWII. Although produced by a negociant, only the finest armagnac eaux de vie are selected to be aged in vintage casks. Still in excellent condition, this bottle is wrapped in cellophane and comes in its original wooden presentation box.

Did you know?  In 1949 George Orwell wrote Nineteen Eighty-four.  In the US, the National Basketball Association (NBA) was formed and Captain James Gallagher, in a Boeing B-50, completed the world’s first non-stop circumnavigation flight around the world, starting and finishing in Texas.
