Another rare and distinguished vintage, this time from the 1938 harvest. Presented at its cask strength of 40.5%, the floral aromas lead you to nutty flavours with herbs and an orange zest finish.

Additional Information

Aroma:
Floral tones of Iris and fresh hay with hints of light balsa wood.
Ageing:
In medium damp cellars with medium toasted barrels for approximately 30 years.
Distillation:
A 25 hl traditional Charentais Alembic still with an onion shaped head.
Flavour:
Light flavours of macadamia and cashew nuts. One can also detect light herb flavours of parsley with fresh bread, finishing with hints of orange zest.

Ugni Blanc

Viticulture:
The land is relatively flat with slightly compacted chalk known as Santonian chalk.
