Small producer still upholding a family tradition of many generations. This small producer is based in Lannepax, a small town in the rolling country of Gascony. The firm is a family firm run by two brothers who have specialised in their products like many generations before them. They distil in the traditional method and have a large range of vintages of a very high quality.
Concours Général Agricole Paris 2013 - Silver Medal
One of the best white armagnacs we have tasted. Consumed cold, it has all the prune qualities of dark armagnac and is ideal to use as a mixer or a palate refresher in the middle of rich and lengthy dinners. The more daring could match it with caviar, smoked fish, foie gras and numerous desserts. For other ideas visit our Information/Cocktails or Recipe pages. Learn More
Although still quite small, Delord rank amongst the greats in Gascogne. Their distillation is around 60 degrees and this provides many of the traditional prune and fruit flavours of the region but also many of the rich nutty flavours of spirits distilled at a higher range. They are also small enough to have more individuality between vintages although all their armagnacs gain greater maturity with age.
This is the latest addition to our range of Delord Armagnacs. Although 1985 is a relatively young vintage, the armagnac is still of a very high quality and produced in the traditional green basquaise bottle. Learn More
Another fine armagnac from the house of Delord which dates back to 1893. One of the youngest vintages that we stock, it was distilled in 1987 and aged in the barrel until its recent bottling. There are nut flavours as well as damson and prune.
