This is a glorious looking armagnac that conveys its age – mahogany with shades of grey-gold that are almost green. Aged in an oak barrel for a very long time, it is beautifully balanced with surprising aromas, aromatic flavours and a long finish.

- Chocolate, flint, orange & sour cherry
- Distillation:
- Distilled at around 57 - 60 degrees. Lower than other brandies, providing greater wine flavours but less refinement than cognacs
- Flavour:
- Mellow, powerful and well balanced, it has typical vanilla flavours and a long finish.
- Grape Variety:
- Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche and Baco
- Reduction & Strength:
- Delord minimise their dilutions wherever possible, but all of their armagnacs are bottled at 40% abv.
- Viticulture:
- The climate is soft and humid with sunny autumns and the soil is made of siliceous clay which is poor in lime, giving Bas Armagnacs a lightness and fragrance with subtle tastes
