|Aroma||Needs to stand for a few minutes for the aromas to develop, they include hazelnuts, brioche, banana and gooseberries.|
|Ageing||This is a very light coloured cognac which was almost certainly aged initially in new oak for a short period of between 4 – 6 months before being transferred to old oak casks.|
|Distillation||Medium sized still.|
|Flavour||Roasted hazelnuts with brioche and a hint of lime. Develops with banana, blueberries and a hint of strawberries with the zest of lime influencing the tail.|
|Grape Variety||Ugni Blanc but possibly Folle Blanche too.|
|Reduction and Strength||This has been reduced about 4% to provide better balance characteristics.|
|Viticulture||The land here is flatter that that of Grande Champagne and the chalk is slightly less porous.|
