    Another rare and distinguished vintage, this time from the 1938 harvest. Presented at its cask strength of 40.5%, the floral aromas lead you to nutty flavours with herbs and an orange zest finish.

    Aroma: Floral tones of Iris and fresh hay with hints of light balsa wood.
    Flavour:
    Flavour: Light flavours of macadamia and cashew nuts. One can also detect light herb flavours of parsley with fresh bread, finishing with hints of orange zest.

    This is a very light and pleasant cognac from a top house. The firm is in a valley close to Ambleville in the central/southern region of Grande Champagne. They have damp cellars allowing the cognacs to mature slowly and as with other cognacs from this house, their presentation is always good.

    Hermitage Cognac Marie Louise is a 60-year-old Grande Champagne from one of the region's top artisan producers. It is offered in a limited first run of 50 decanters produced by Cumbria Crystal, the last producer of completely hand-blown and hand-cut, full-lead luxury English crystal in the UK.
