This family owned firm has been producing calvados from the top cru, Pays d’Auge, for 5 generations. This XO calvados has been aged for at least 8 years, initially in 30 – 40 hl oak barrels but subsequently in smaller, 15 – 20 hl ones. It has a wonderful appley flavour and can be drunk as an aperitif (straight on ice or in a cocktail) or as a digestif served at room temperature to allow enough time to air.

- Aroma:
- Fruity apple aromas with hints of flowers.
- Ageing:
- Aged in oak barrels for 8 years. The first 5 years are spent in 30 - 40 hl barrels and the last 3 years in smaller, 15 - 20 hl ones.
- Distillation:
- The cider is distilled once to an abv of between 68% and 72%.
- Flavour:
- Smooth, a mix of apple and wood. It is fresh with minerals and a slightly peppery taste.
- Grape Variety:
- Not a grape but Cidre made from apples and perry pear. The bitter/sweet apples are mainly picked and crushed in a membrane press to get the flavour from the skins. There are several varieties including Saint Martin, Noel des Champs, Mettais and Doux Normandie. The apples are small with high aromatic intensity.
