This armagnac from Castarede, has been aged in excellent conditions in the company’s cellars, next to the River Baïse, where optimum temperatures are maintained before being bottled in October 2020.

- Aroma:
- Rich, fruity nose
- Ageing:
- All Castarede armagnacs are well aged in oak casks. The cellars are next to the Baise river ensuring that they are always damp.
- Distillation:
- Single distillation at around 58 – 60 degrees. This provides more complex aromas and taste.
- Flavour:
- Dried apricots, honeysuckle and baking spices.
- Grape Variety:
- Mainly Colombard.
- Reduction & Strength:
- Limited reduction with distilled water.
- Viticulture:
- The climate is soft and humid with sunny autumns and the soil is made of siliceous clay which is poor in lime, giving Bas Armagnacs a lightness and fragrance with subtle tastes.
